DAWS HILL

VINEYARD TOUR

Explore the outstanding natural beauty of Daws Hill Vineyard in the heart of the Chilterns. The vineyard now has around 5000 vines and extends over three acres. The small team uses traditional methods to produce English quality sparkling wine, traditional Champagne varities, Pinot noir, Pinot meunier and Chardonnay.

Here you will discover the journey from vine to bottle with this fascinating tour and tasting experience. After seeing and learning about the traditional methods used and processes involved in the production of their wines, you will taste a selection of wines for yourselves under the tuition of the experienced tour guide.

Wind in the WIllows – This is my Theatre

June 11, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

“Hang spring cleaning!” cries Mole as he abandons this seasonal task for the call of the world above.

And what a world he discovers! The River, The Wild Wood and The Wide World beyond. Mole will experience adventure like never before! Join him as he learns the joys and dangers of living outside of his hole and forges friendships with the logical Rat, formidable Badger and who can forget the outrageous Toad of Toad Hall.

Closely adapted from the original and best-selling children’s book by Kenneth Grahame and combined with traditional folk music, this will delight children and adults alike this summer!

This is an open-air performance so please bring chairs/blankets and picnics to enjoy whilst watching. We will perform in all but the very worst weather!

Written by Kenneth Grahame
Directed & Adapted by Sarah Slator
Music by Simon Stallard
