The Railway Children

August 6, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Theatre is Back this summer

We are very excited to announce for one day only we will be having the theatre back in the vineyard. Previous years have been massive successes.
This year we welcome This Is My Theatre group and their production of
The Railway Children .

When their father has to leave their London home unexpectedly, Roberta, Phyllis and Peter leave London and travel with their mother to start a new life in rural Yorkshire. Their love of trains and the nearby railway line lead to new friendships and adventures but the mystery of why their father doesn’t return remains and they must find out and help him come home.

Whilst written more than a century ago, this charming children’s novel still inspires all ages and with folk music throughout, everyone will have their hearts warmed with this captivating adaptation.

Running time: 1 hour 30 minutes approximately

This is an open-air performance so please bring chairs/blankets and picnics to enjoy whilst watching. We will perform in all but the very worst weather!

Wine from the vineyard will be available to purchase from the bar.
