Volunteer Day at Daws Hill Vineyard
Join us for a rewarding day in the vineyard as we prepare Daws Hill for the growing season ahead. Our Volunteer Day is a chance to get hands-on among the vines, learn a little about vineyard work, and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.
Throughout the day we’ll be carrying out a range of seasonal tasks that help set the vineyard up for a successful year. This includes tidying trellis wires, pinning down the vines, clearing and maintaining the rows, and general vineyard preparation. No previous experience is needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.
Whether you’re curious about how vineyards are maintained or simply want to spend a productive day outdoors, we’d love to have you join us. Our team will guide you through the tasks and share a few insights into the vineyard along the way.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear.
What to expect:
- Hands-on vineyard tasks to prepare for the season
- A relaxed and friendly atmosphere
- Guidance from the vineyard team
- A chance to learn more about the vines and how the vineyard works
We’ll make sure there are refreshments available during the day, and of course there will be time to take in the views across the vineyard.
Come along, lend a hand, and be part of getting Daws Hill ready for the season ahead.
