Join Ollie and Natasha from Berks fizz in a journey of wine.- originally from Sussex and now residing in Berkshire – and they are obsessed with the wonderful world of wine. They have previously managed numerous bars and restaurants, and have spent time working with winemakers in Sussex, as well as in Mendoza and the Colchagua Valley, learning the ropes.
Wine professionals who regularly host vineyard tours and tasting events, and are qualified Wine Scholars recognised by the Wine Scholar Guild (FWS & SWS) and by WSET (The Wine and Spirit Education Trust).
‘Sparkling Wines of the World’ Blind Tasting

Come and join us for a very special Sunday afternoon blind tasting workshop looking specifically at the wonderful world of sparkling wine! We will blind taste our way through all of the most famous sparkling wines of the world, including squaring off some of our very own English sparkling against Champagne, Prosecco and more – and we will discuss the different climates and production methods in play. A really fun way to spend an afternoon amongst the vines, and a chance to sharpen your tasting skills and learn all about the wonderful world of sparkling wine! This is a fun and informal tasting – absolutely no previous wine tasting experience required.
Champagne: Blind Wine Tasting

Join Berks Fizz at Daws Hill for a very special Sunday afternoon wine tasting workshop looking specifically at the wonderful world of Champagne! Serving blind, we will taste our way through six of the most famous Champagne brands – offering you the opportunity to taste them all up against each other, and discover once and for all what your favourite Champagne brand is! We will also introduce the region and discuss the different grape varieties, microclimates and the production method in play – so all in all a full on and comprehensive to the wonderful (and decadent) story of one of the most famous and well-regarded wines in the world. A really fun way to spend an afternoon, and a chance to sharpen your tasting skills – and this is a fun and informal tasting with no previous wine tasting experience required.
‘The Rosé Revolution!’ Wine Tasting

A brand new event for 2022 – come and join us at Daws Hill for a summery celebration of pink wines! We will taste our way through six incredibly different rosé wines, both still and sparkling, and reveal all about where they are from and how they are made. Rosé is absolutely booming at the moment but there are more styles out there than many realise… who knows, perhaps you will discover a new favourite? No previous wine tasting experience is required – all are welcome.
